First Annual Oregon AlpacaFest: Celebrating all things alpaca

Elden Harms with kids

Elden Harms introduces Sauk Creek Solana, the newest addition to the herd, at the First Annual Oregon AlpacaFest.

The First Annual Oregon AlpacaFest: Celebrating all things alpaca was a huge success and we thank everyone who visited with the alpacas of Sauk Creek and stayed to learn more about these amazing creatures. Plans are already under way for next year’s event. Stay tuned for details!

If you were unable to attend the festivities, Sauk Creek Alpacas is open by appointment most weekends. We still have socks, scarves, yarn and rovings available for purchase. Just give me a call or shoot me an email to arrange a time to visit.

A special thanks to Beth Skogen for her beautiful photography, Elden Harms for his demonstrations and explanations, and Ingrid and Peter McMasters, Ronelle Harms and Erin and Paul Egan for showcasing their products. And an extra-special thank you to Ann Digmann for her able assistance.

Thanks again for a wonderful time!
